Some Igbo leaders under the aegis of Southeast Group for Change this afternoon held a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at Aso Rock Presidential villa.

The South East politicians led by former Senate President, Ken Nnamani held the meeting with the President a day after members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) held demonstrations in the South East and South-South parts of the country.

‎The 18-member delegation, which arrived in a bus belonging to the Ken Nnamani Leadership Institute, came under the aegis of Southeast Group for Change, The Nation Newspaper reports

They comprised mainly members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

The delegation included  ‎the National Auditor of APC, George Moghalu; former Senators ‎Ifeanyi Ararume and Osita Izunaso;  former House of Representatives member, Sharon Ikeazor and  former Executive Vice-Chairman of Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC), Ernest Ndukwe.
