Bola Tinubu
A socio-political group, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF), has frowned at those who carried out the faceless protest against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, explaining that the protesters were paid to do so by some people who were not satisfied with Tinubu's letter against the anti democratic activities of some national officers of the party.
Rising from a meeting in Akure, the Ondo State capital, a communique jointly signed by the National Secretary, Otunba Adeleye Akintola and the Publicity Secretary, Comrade Adebayo Adeboye described the incidence as unfortunate.

However , the group wondered why those behind the protest couldn't throw their weight behind it openly, adding that "why are they afraid to put their face into the protest if truly they are APC members."

The group also berated those it called hatchet jobbers within the party for being the brain behind the protest, describing those involved as coward. "They should have come out boldly to identify with those protesting for the sustenance of anti democratic tendencies in APC," the statement added.
Speaking further, "the group is surprised that a faceless protest can take place in Nigeria with the approval of Nigeria Police", calling on the men of the force to always do act diligenty while giving approval for a protest, "so as to differentiate between ghost and real protest."
The group threw its support behind the National leader of APC ,Asiwaju Tinubu who they described as the symbol of democracy in Nigeria . "We stand with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to sustain sanity in our democratic system," it concuded.‎
